as someone who's been very publicly vocal about calling out sexual abuse/harassment, the respect I demanded from men decreased dramatically when doing so after transitioning. if you're a man, you have a responsibility to leverage that because women just can't. men only listen to men.

Yeah. I mean, they didn't listen to me before I transitioned, but now they *really* don't listen to me. (I mean, yes some men do listen to me but they're not the ones who need to hear it)

tbf I was also doing it as a well-liked streamer, so having that combo (perceived as male + social authority) made me a lot harder to ignore lol.
