I'm very happy to see asdf being rewritten in Go. More innovation in this space is going to result in better tools for everyone. After all, mise probably wouldn't even exist if asdf didn't come first.

mise is still significantly faster, I'm measuring 10ms of overhead with `mise exec` vs 45ms with go-asdf. bash-asdf has 900ms though so it's a significant improvement.
