Building software with AI has been so great for scratching my own itches. Small projects I’ve put off doing for years are getting done in hours or minutes. Lots of colleagues complain or say they morn the craft, I can understand it, but I won’t go back.

This is the only real useful application of AI I’ve come across. It fails so miserably at most things but it does seem to handle coding assistance very well.

I use it every day to write code for work and haven’t manually written code in over a year. I do have a personal agent that does some cool stuff. Helped me plan our cross Canada trip, book campsites, find and book reservations for restaurants etc. Those are pretty nice uses too.
