👋 We're building a new type of word processor at Marker, and we're hiring for React/ProseMirror engineers and full-stack AI engineers to join the team in London. Are you an engineer who cares about writing? Or do you know someone who does? See: writewithmarker.com/jobs More details below 👇

We're looking for a React/ProseMirror hacker (aka. Product Engineer) to help us create the best text editor on the web! This is a web dev / full stack role. We are primarily hiring in London, 🫰 £100-150k, but flex in site and comp for exceptional candidates. writewithmarker.com/jobs/product...

We're also looking for an "AI Engineer" (whatever that is 🙄) to help us build the infra behind Marker's intelligent editorial assistants This is a full-stack TypeScript role, building on Cloudflare. London, 🫰£100-£150k, flex in site and comp for exceptional fit writewithmarker.com/jobs/ai-engi...

The most important qualification for both of these roles is that you are interested, and care about the act, craft and quality of writing -- this may not be you, but it may be someone you know. I would appreciate it if you shared this posting with them ❤️

We deeply care about building a great product for writers. While language models play a key part of our product vision, the tool we are building is meant to enhance humans to write better, not to produce slop faster and more economically. Think of AI as your editorial team, not as the writer.

I think some folks from the Lexical community might be interested in this (even though you're using PM). I'll ask around :)
