Ugh, just as I get my app running well on Amazon’s FireOS, they decide to introduce completely incompatible VegaOS. Looks like they are making it intentionally hard to target with anything other than React 😡. Is there even a chance MAUI could eventually be able to target this? .NET 14? 🤣

I’m surprised FireOS was supported to begin with 🤪 I mean with the power of AI we are able to move fast…

It’s some Linux based thing but aggressively prevents sideloading so it’s hard to debug with. Looks like another solution to a nonexistent problem

We are moving our WPF kiosk digital signage to a MAUI .net program that runs on a firestick . Soooo many memory leaks but I think we are finally there. Now, only if OpacityMasks were supported … 😥

We have been addressing a lot of those and even have an AI powered scanner now to look for those. If you have any to share that we still missed open issues and send them my way! I would think OpacityMasks might be something that’s not on all platforms? I’m not very familiar with them.

Feel free to open an issue with a spec that we can look at for .NET 12
