Someone I know got pretty close to everything compromised because of a Terraria mod function that automatically downloads all the mods that the host has. But one was maleware that hijacked a bunch of session IDs. Its incredibly scary. I'm glad you were able to get everything back and solved.

Oh this is interesting; I was wondering how it bypassed the actually really good microsoft defender protection but a modpack makes a lot of sense. Sorry that that happened to you, it looks really innocent and I'd've fallen for it too 100%.

Just got back to my PC with dinner and noticed your account was online, so I came here to check—hooray, good news!! :D

Me and my firends have a password that we use on tandom phrases, for example "i ate a bean sou so good today, you have no idea!" (I have a really adverse reaction to beans) And they have to a word that they have to put on their phrase. Its not perfect, but saved us a couple times.

Glad you got everything back - friend of mine had the same thing happen, but discord hasn't done jack for them. It's been over 2 months now.
