playing Beyond Good & Evil on the steam deck, thinking how useless modular meshes would be to make something like this

Been modelling rooms like this for prototype levels to get a feel for it and it's been very freeing. (This and baked lightmaps rather than realtime / voxelGI) Do you know any good resources on modelling levels in this way? Hard to find through all the modular kit stuff

i don't, but i don't really know/use resources for anything, i just fuck around

fair enough!

i do know that scythe is a really nice way to do shit like this in unreal, the the point where it's prob worth using it and exporting out if you're not using unreal

it does look pretty fantastic! I tried a Scythe-Like for blender but it turns out it was vibe-coded and it overwrote a lot of my preferences to the point I had to factory reset Blender lol I'll pop it on the list of tools to check out when money exists, cheers
