How on earth are you supposed to use this green fluffy stuff?! It looks pants when you put it on a tree, it doesn't hold together, and it seems to absorb glue but not stick to anything. What do people use for foliage? ##nerdlings #scenery

I used to use died lichens on trees, not sure if it’s still available though.

You want the more powdery stuff, put PVA glue where you want the leafs and sprinkle the powder on the glue, leave to dry and then repeat to build up layers.

Thanks. This stuff is essentially just shredded and compressed foam. I only put the major branches on expecting this to add the volume... Might leave this as a dead tree and try again... It's a learning process anyway (and looks better than it did at this point 😄) bsky.app/profile/john...

Its got some paint on it now. It is looking better, but I painted the highlights in bad light this morning, and they are more yellow than I was hoping... Im sure it will all work out... #nerdlings #scenery #modelling
