I’ve been thinking a lot about this, and really would like @tabletoprevolution.com to pilot something here that would be helpful, maybe a blog of thoughtful AP reviews and criticism (as in “critic,” not as in negativity). What would you want to see in an AP reviews outlet, TTRPG community?

Hey you know what the Actual play space needs? The normalization of peer reviewing shows. Nothing negative. I feel like as creators we consume less and less in our own space. We should change that. When I was in comics I read other comics, why should it be different now? Also bring back Game Feels

No, although I think that’d be interesting! The idea is that we need more outlets with Actual Play coverage and reviews, because there is so much creation, but little coverage. To oversimplify/summarize, many have pointed to the “everyone wants to be a creator, no one wants to watch/listen” problem.

That’s really valid; there’s a whole dimension of this that would be more useful at a large scale, which is absolutely needed but also hard to imagine there’s a way to get the long-term funding needed to provide the kind of infrastructure and staff required to provide good, ongoing coverage.
