Back when America Was Great we had lead in the gasoline (therefore in the air), lead in paint (therefore in the soil), CFCs deleting the ozone layer, tremendous smog over major cities all the time, fully-polluted / dead waterways, cigarette smoke *everywhere*, asbestos everywhere else. ETC.

The people don't really matter to Trump, it's all about the corporations. He excuses the environmental rollback saying that it helps the corporations be more competitive. What it really does is save the companies the money it would take to comply with the rules.
