Totally get the joke, but unironically, we are good at soccer. Just not as good as we want to be. In ‘94, we only made it out of the group due to a rather fortunate own goal and in ‘98 we literally came in last. Now, we’re expected to get out of the group every time.

In support, I’m going to set aside some time to ponder what great heights we could achieve if only some random 7th round draft pick decided to be a left wingback instead.
