Yesterday was our monthly internal meetup and Xavier shared a #Symfony #Bundle we are working on for months: JoliMediaBundle 🖼️ A lot of projects need a media gallery in their admins (#EasyAdmin and #SonataAdmin support ✅) and a performant frontend resizing/cropping. 🧵

This (yet to be) open-source bundle aims to solve a lot of our issues with media in general: 🔗 Optional bridge integration with EasyAdmin (+Trix) and Sonata 🗂️ Full management in the existing admin + moving / renaming... 🖼️ High-quality image manipulation with no degradation

📁 Filesystem abstraction (Flysystem) 🖼️ <picture> and <img srcset> Twig component 🗃️ Doctrine integration to keep storage and database in sync 🚫 Prevent/control media deletion if used in entity 🔄 Mass updates of entities if media moved/renamed 🖼️ GIF/SVG/PNGA support

🌿 Command line utilities for pruning, variations warmup and debug 🌐 Auto WebP on demand 🔗 Events to bind custom logic on media lifecycle ✔️ Validator to assert path, size...
