#WordPress Studio is officially my preferred local WP dev environment. Zero dependencies, custom domains & SSL, database access, PHP & WP version switching, Xdebug, every OS. I wish all other PHP software were this easy to run locally. Check it out at wordpress.studio.

Worth the hassle of switching from LocalWP - this seems to be a similar proposition?

If I'm honest, that's hard for me to say; I've never liked Local myself.

studio has genuinely become the best local wp env, the zero dependencies and version switching alone sold me. wish the after launch side were this smooth too, local is a solved problem now but keeping the shipped live sites healthy still isnt
