spam was a thing long before AI too and we all got on alright (gh also used to be relatively good at banning bots) the bigger issue is „slop from ordinary ppl“ they might even be well intentioned!

I don’t know, I’ve been using agents a lot lately in my open source code in multiple repos. It’s not hidden at all (AGENTS.md, docs for agents, etc), and it tells me “No automation signals detected in the analyzed events.” Am I completely missing the point? What is it looking at?

It's not supposed to stop AI users! It's supposed to catch egregious spam. Check out their list of recent reports like agentscan.tools/user/auroraxo "Account is 26 days old" "Active in 23 of 24 hours, with the longest break being only 1.5 hours" That type of thing!
