How do cops “accidentally” arrest someone? Like, you trip and fall and bam, arrest? What would’ve happened to this wrongfully arrested woman were she not literally a mayor? We need accountability for police yesterday.

Question: how do deputies “escort” someone to court, without effectively detaining them? If that individual didn’t “welcome” the escort leading to their detention, wouldn’t that be a de facto arrest?

"A lot of the guys that we hire haven’t been exposed to that in academy" ... That's the problem! I think the US is the only western countries where the police education is so short. Here in Northern Europe, it's 2.5–3 years of education.
