Can’t stop thinking about Ace Combat

@jpengine.bsky.social

Somewhere between when I left the house earlier today and got back home I had inexplicably ended up with a copy of Ace Combat 6 and a used Xbox 360. Not sure how that happened, it’s all a blur…

I also picked up Lost Odyssey, so now my Xbox 360 collection matches the size of my NeoGeo CD collection. (I have no desire to pick up any more games for either)

Lost Odyssey mentioned, hell yeah. I was lucky enough to grab it when it was temporarily free on Xbox marketplace so now I have a perpetual license for it on my account. Of course I also bought physical on launch. My favorite Uematsu soundtrack that isn't called FF.

The main thing Ace Combat 6 has done for me so far is remind me that I need to play Ace Combat 8 again

I'm playing the plane game in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort and it doesn't help me not think about Ace Combat
