i got sucked into the current propaganda campaign on reddit against trans girls playing girls' sports. the TERF talking points are always the same, "we don't want MEN playing against girls" and it's like... that literally never happens. everyone is the same age. no MEN are involved.

also interesting to me is how most of the commenters have "prepared remarks" for top-level comments. the expression "common sense" is the trademark of their copypaste propaganda. very strange. not sure if bots or people being fed this line from somewhere, or what.

but in the end to me, it's kind of easy to tell that it's a coordinated campaign / astroturfing and not people's organic opinions. i just don't really understand the motivation. all this to distract from incoming $10/gallon gas?

maybe the propaganda wording magically works? i guess i'll try it. it's common sense that trans women are women and trans girls are girls, and we should be on sports teams together.
