I'm building an app to help (mostly GA) pilots manage NOTAMs and other critical information. My normal routine is to look at the flight restrictions map and verify the behavior I want works... it never does!

This morning I found a NOTAM for a TFR that contains no location data beyond the airport, with only the text "AIRSPACE SEE FDC 6/8925 ZLA 91.141 VIP". There are dozens of NOTAMs active and it's easy to miss something like that...

Software needs to crawl to the linked record, then extract the right location information. It's not complicated, but it is error-prone and easy to get wrong. It's tedious, too. Every morning I find something weird or problematic with how critical information is shared with pilots.

I keep thinking "Ok, by the end of the week I should be ready for some more beta testers" and keep finding these gaps on my own testing and exploration of the data. I feel like I'm working with the Dread Pirate Roberts.
