I have a whole bunch of ideas for games I want to work on and one I’m actively developing. It’s currently taking all my willpower to continue to focus on the active game and not get distracted by the next idea which comes along #gamedev

Part of me thinks that the novelty of some prototypes on the side might help reduce burnout on the main game but I know what I’m like and will switch to the next, more interesting idea.

I think the main reason why we think about new ideas is because of all the brainstorm happening, there's so much dopamine released in your brain when you think you just had a good idea, it's an addiction
