Aren’t reconciliation bills supposed to have only budget related items? Can the Senate GOP ignore the parliamentarian entirely if the parliamentarian tries to eliminate some of this awful crap from the bill?

But is this even Constitutional? Can the Legislative branch control the Judicial branch? According the the law, the three branches are separate but equal. The Legislature has to follow the Constitution, which is ultimately decided by the Courts. If this passes, it is the end of the rule of law.

Where's our U.S. media in telling Americans about this dangerous hidden item in Republicans' scam bill? Not only are Republicans seeking to starve children & elderly, cut most Americans' health care & make the rich even richer, Republicans want to severely weaken our federal courts.

I haven't seen a Dem bring this up. Maybe I missed it? Or maybe they want this provision to grift as the Repubs do without recourse?

Why does the US still portray itself as a democracy when a provision like this could be added to a bill passed by Congress? It’s unconstitutional to remove the checks and balances-the current CR shouldn’t even be in place. We need voter recourse and reform against Congress.
