No they could not. Homelessness is caused by local governments that intentionally block construction of housing.

And we are not to talk about effective fighting.

Or built infrastructure that is modern like China or gave people Health Care like the rest of the free world or could have paid off all that College Debt and school lunches.

The oligarchs and their sycophants will say it's different because AI data centers are an investment that might produce returns and housing the homeless isn't. Untrue on both counts. Most of the AI players will go bust, they all know it, and lifting people out of poverty is good for the economy.

You can't keep the proles enslaved if you give them housing.

That’s because the homeless problem can’t be fixed. Unless you fix the why they’re homeless. And THAT is a whole different issue. Drugs, mental illness, abandonment, etc..
