Upgraded the server to Ubuntu 26.04, and from what I remember, it's the first time that VMware Workstation worked out of the box – no kernel module update errors, etc. As usual the OS upgrade went without a hitch #ubuntu

lol ...I use workstation to run home assistant, perhaps it's time to do a docker based setup. Last time around usb pass through for the zwave stick was a pain plus the add ons store was missing
