Yanno, despite the absolute horror level stuff I write and draw in my stories, I actually never liked the whole "cute thing is actually DARK, and we're edgy on purpose and being SUBVERSIVE!" I just happen to like psychological horror, biomechanical surrealism, retro anime, & cartoons from the 90s.

This isn't to say that people who like that sort of thing are wrong or that I think less of anyone who does that! It's just never been the reason for the things that turn out to be... horror adjacent in my work. Oftentimes, I just do stuff out of aesthetic preference alone.

Folks are probably thinking, "What horror? All you post is cute cartoons!" And that's... true! I've become... particular about what I publicly post. But I'm thinking I might loosen up and actually share some of the more visceral experimental pieces I have cooking behind the scenes...

On that note, here's a rough sketch for a story beat that I quickly scribbled down before I got distracted with something more pressing!

Maybe if I share these, I'll be motivated to finish them instead of letting them rot in my archives! Maybe! Perhaps! IT COULD HAPPEN!
