But as westerners are incapable of imagining a world without wage slavery or even the basic affordances of a welfare system, they'll continue to see improvements in quality of life and automation as an enemy, and making up "leftist" sounding nonsense to justify reactionary views.

For example, you can try to construct a woke argument about how the death of uber (a horrible system that involves a risk of injury for both a passenger and a driver working for little pay) as the death of community or something because self-driving cars don't force you to sit with someone anymore.
