Good morning, #Septopolis. We've got some mini #Marchistics happening today and tomorrow! What does your place produce that's attractive to trading partners? What about what they can't (or can't produce enough of for one reason or another)? This can include intangible things like tourism!

Exports: this baby can fit so much tourism in it. It is, in essence, the place to be. Vacations, entertainment, the budding financial sector that totally isn’t going to be a problem in like 150 years—there’s a lot that brings visitors in to spend their money. On the other hand…

Imports are… a lot. The entire creation process of one beluan species—the erzmaw of Erzylvan—declared it as being critical to the ability of Galas Castoll to continuously grow and change as it does. The Agra’s massive quays need high quality structural steel for marine environments, after all.

A lot of what makes Galas Castoll function isn’t available in excess within its own territory. While it can comfortably feed itself, given that it is a hell of a tourism center, strain is put on that. Like the rest of Fannarey, it’s highly dependent on the neighboring Dorey Heartlands for food.

Piggybacking on that though, raw materials. They have the capacity to make things: there IS a lot of metal fabrication, electronics, chemicals, yada yada happening here. Those fin-guys need something to bean count, you know?
