Ah yes my favorite topic as someone with total aphantasia, who people LOVE to claim are utterly helpless without AI help. My mind cannot conjure images, sounds or any sensations. No inner monologue. No dreams. And SDAM, so I don’t even have vivid memories And yet I draw. Without the shit machine :)

Best I can describe having a thoughtless mind is like, your arm will be limp until you give it the signal to move or it's an emergency like a fall, yes? It’s the same for my brain. Like it only makes a thought if I need one. That, and I only think in concepts, no images/sounds/voices or such.

And then drawing I do all my thinking on the canvas. Like I sculpt a lot out of shapes and lines. If you've ever watched one of my streams where I sketch you might have seen it. Lots of trial and error, it is why I prefer working digitally. tbh I STARTED drawing bc I wanted to see my thoughts
