Correction: after a few more queries and reading the logic engine, it’s all about inference guessing. “How can can I best guess what the user wants to hear” Then it strings together nonsensical facts instead of just saying “I don’t know”

Perplexity’s Deepseek prompting combined with retrieval augmentation is impressive. My direct ones not so much. Here’s an example:
