It doesn't - that's the point! But every republican and even some dems ran on that talking point. That we were somehow the reason everything went to crap, then got elected over it, and are now doing the exact thing they blamed us for!!

That really sounds absurd. Can you really give me an example and/or source about republicans and/or dems saying explicitly that trans people are the reason why everything went to crap? I still don't get it. Sorry if I still don't get it.
