please tell me they talk about Big Woods in east texas, a place where local legend said Satanists lived. if you were blonde hair/blue eyed and got a black rose in your locker, the people from Big Woods were coming for you. the 80's were wild.

or how all the youth pastors in my town managed to boycott the local cable company until they banned MTV. i don't think my town got MTV until DirectTV was as thing (or you had a giant satellite dish in your back yard). it was a wet county though!

I used to read these reports in Astonishment, thinking how on Earth could anything like this have happened so recently? When in 2016 they started it up again I was astonished, haven't you guys heard of the Satanic Panic? Unfortunately I was naive. Yes they did know, they knew it worked for them.

It also may have been a reaction to the failure of Prop 6 and the 70s Anti-Gay movement. When conservative Christians don't get everything exactly the way they want, I feel like they just throw temper tantrums and begin breaking things. That's a Satanic Panic, it's just angry elites using people.
