After working hard all their lives, people deserve to enjoy their retirement without worrying about how they’re going to afford groceries, medications, and basic bills. Social Security needs to do better for our seniors.

My husband and I are in much better circumstances than our neighbors. He has a state pension. Some of our neighbors are working part-time or doing yard work for extra cash. Not right.

You're right, Kristi. It's worrying to think about what the future will look like for our kids when they retire. Social Security is supposed to give people some security after years of hard work, not leave them wondering how they'll make ends meet. I really hope things change for the better.
