as a trans person living in a red state that i cannot realistically pack up & leave right now + i have community here i depend on: i ask of you to see the ways things can get better for the whole of us instead of abandoning a geographic area just bc of who is oppressing us in the seats of power

that being said i would take the opportunity to move if i could (i cannot even apply for a driver's license with a different gender marker in my state) but i understand it would be a massive undertaking for everyone involved
