Ok, I have been avoiding making this post for some time, here we go. I work in the Medical Cannabis industry. I help patients who are very sick and who have tried everything else to get better. Medical Cannabis saves lives. Why am I bringing this up now? Well, in Massachusetts they are… 🧵

Trying to make the recreational cannabis industry illegal. It’s on the ballot this November. What a lot of people don’t realize is that the recreational cannabis industry props up the medical cannabis industry in this state. If rec. were to disappear, thousands of jobs would disappear… 🧵

Billions in tax revenue. Gone. Many medical dispensaries would close because they use rec. as a path to profitability. Many grow ops would close because the they are geared for a large demand from rec. in addition to med. There would be less options for my med patients. …🧵

The costs for med patients would go up. Most importantly, In my opinion this would lead to medical cannabis patients suffering or even dying because they can’t get the medication that was most effective for them. If you live in Massachusetts Vote No on 8! A No on 8 vote will save lives!
