"Childcare and homemaking is among the most important work in our society, but it is undervalued and incredibly difficult. " Why I lean that liberals should put guaranteed govt wage to this work + count it in GDP. If we can conjure $ to give to banks to loan to techbros, we can certainly do this.

1/2 I chose to be a homemaker. It's 'hella hard, can be isolating & mind numbing. Throw in a child with multiple disabilities & things get interesting. I became educated about said disabilities & made sure my child had the best I could give him.

2/2 When a divorce came after 40 years I had no SS, no credit of my own. Fortunately my then husband is a feminist & made sure everything was divided 50/50. We continue to co-parent our child. I was fortunate to be married to an excellent human being. I wouldn't trust another man to be this decent.
