This is specifically related to requiring a Linux OS to verify the ages of its users, which will not be required. Any website requiring age verification manages that on its platform, so operating system doesn't matter.

I'd say that you don't need to be psychic, to see it happening that websites will ask the browser/OS to verify the age. It might feel like a win today, but don't be surprised it will bring horror in the future.
