that won't save you from vulnerable websites getting compromised, but at the very least it'll prevent any bad actors from using any info they get from those websites to pivot and take over your accounts on other sites and services.

also for the love of god, if anything still uses security questions, put random, completely unrelated words as yr answers and store those answers in your password manager. there's only so many favorite foods out there and "Laura Pulteney, 1st Countess of Bath" is a lot harder to guess than "Sushi".

this is my favorite password tip that i give out but i don't think anybody ever uses it ;w; security questions is just Password Part 2, 3 & 4
