COVID was a really horrible way to die. The current political climate is truly appalling, but what are you referring to exactly? The current horror show & corruption in the U.S. or something else? Is there a similar trend in Australia? Corruption is certainly infectious worldwide. :(

COVID was very scary too & caused terrible damage & far too many deaths. But scientists fought it & many people survived as a result. The billionaire class is admittedly even more invasive & deadly than Covid, but maybe there is a way to fight back?

We must. I know that. If not for ourselves, then for the people who will follow us. It can just feel a little overwhelming at times. The scale, the level, is so much greater than I’ve experienced before. Openly lying, on record, is nothing now. It’s the norm. And it’s seldom challenged. Not good.

It’s the world in general, although the USA is very hard to ignore at the moment. Australia has Trump fans and equivalents. A house not too far from where I stay was flying Trump flags the day after the presidential election. It’s a bleak time. So many people are struggling. It’s heartbreaking.

Yes, it is very hard indeed to ignore. Our world looks very ugly & dangerous right now. The cruelty, stupidity & wanton destruction of all that was good in our world is incredibly depressing. The evil & ugly fascist lot currently in charge want us to just give up & die.

I survived covid too. It caused a dvt and lung emboli. I survived to be abused, cheated on, abandoned, abandoned by the courts and social programs and now the rich mortgage lender is attempting to steal my home because they think me easy pickings. Good is comming.

I am truly sorry to hear that. I didn’t think about it for most of my life, to my shame, but I now have a deep appreciation for countries that look after their people.
