You could spend many a Sunday afternoon parked up in a lay by waiting for the AA to turn up.

The other day, I was watching For Your Eyes Only, and when Bond arrives at the hotel in his Lotus with a pair of skis on the rear, the hotel bellboy opens the boot and the skis hit the roof of the car... I think it was rather impractical for taking to the snow.

My brother has one. A lot of fun, but it'd probably be cheaper to keep a helicopter...

Also: “fields of fire in a big country” is possibly the only cheat code I think I remember from back then. That must have been on the Amiga version (“L.E.T. 2”?)

My dream car in the 80s was a Porsche 944. These days I could probably pick one up reasonably affordably, but would also be a pain to maintain. Part of me wants to get one, just to own it for a week, drive it, and then punt it on...

Could have done with that earlier this year if you know what I mean ;-)

Such a beautifully shaped car. My mates dad had one when we were growing up.
