Why is it not the law that if I click a link in your app it just opens in my damn browser. Never has an in-app browser done anything useful.

I have one use case for in-app browsers: I usually read a story for my kid to sleep from the phone but, in the meantime I split the browser with Bsky to peek at some interesting news while I keep reading the story (I speak very slowly to make him fall asleep so usually I read the whole sentence in a

couple of seconds and I read that back in 30 seconds). If I spot some interesting news I click on it, and it opens in my normal browser when I'm reading the story so it breaks the flow and I can't read the article because I need to switch back to the story. Not a problem with in-app browsers! 😁
