Easy on the eyes or easy on the hands, these are some games I tried in Seattle over PAX that were either visually stunning or super cozy to play—or both! 🎮 = demo available on steam! ⬇🥰

Fangtopia - A cozy strategy tile placer, similar to Dorfromantik. It has a number of modes, my favorite being finding the right tiles to connect railroads to all of the islands. It has a spoopy theme, so perfect for October!

Never alone 2 - Stunning child + fox adventure narrative game created in collaboration with Alaska Native storytellers. Plus, it's co-op! Highly anticipated for me.

Truckful - Post-apocalyptic vibes, drive around the world & help neighbors by delivering. Puzzle aspect in packing your truck. Upgrade to navigate new lands & handle dangers! Addictive & cozy.

🎮Talaka - Action platformer rogue-lite with gorgeous painterly art style. Explore the world, select your weapons, and meet a cast of NPCs with vibrant personalities.

🎮Fairy Circle - Mushroom placement puzzle game! Bag Building roguelike set in a fairytale world. Cozy and satisfying.

🎮War of the Western Deep - Hand animation point and click adventure. Gameplay reminds me of Putt Putt / Freddi Fish but... not for kids. Cozy to explore and hear main character's commentary on the world.

🎮Wish Upon a Llama - Husbandry farming sim. Breed those animals, meet the townspeople, and explore a gorgeous pixel art world.

🎮Deperson - Psychological horror puzzle game. Sketch-style graphics! It's hauntingly beautiful. Really enjoyed immersing myself in the world--many choices in designs are made intentionally. LOVE the environmental storytelling.
