The federal government is taking over the California National Guard and deploying 2,000 soldiers in Los Angeles — not because there is a shortage of law enforcement, but because they want a spectacle. Don't give them one. Never use violence. Speak out peacefully.

This is loser energy. You run the state with some of the most annoying lawyers in the country and all you've got is "don't make a spectacle" as if the protestors are the ones tear gassing an entire block???

I think he’s very much aware of the strategy taco is using and that he only needs a flimsy excuse to start shooting at protesters. Of course he doesn’t want to put gas on the flames. Newsom is between a rock and a hard place and knows he’ll get blamed for everything anyhow.
