And if there were no bots and scrapers, we could run this whole thing on the Pentium I had in college.

Sure sure, we build some new features sometimes. But there is an unsung hero at Mana Pool who carved all the BS out of our database usage, and now I think we can probably drop half of our capacity and it will still be consistent and fast.
