Since getting laid off in October, I’ve been using some unexpected downtime to focus on professional development and add new skills to my resume One area I really wanted to improve on was getting more comfortable automating repetitive tasks through coding, with the help of large language model 2/5

Here’s the workflow I used to create this animation 👇 1️⃣ Developed script # 1 with an LLM to automatically download ~800 NetCDF files from the web 💻 2️⃣ Developed script # 2 to batch-load all NetCDFs (with a specific layer) into QGIS 🗺️ 3️⃣ Symbolized the layers 🎨 3/5

4️⃣ Developed script # 3 to batch-export each NetCDF to its own PNG, plus all base layers as a single PNG 📤 5️⃣ Batch-imported all PNGs into Adobe Photoshop 📷 6️⃣ Added text, labels, and a legend in Photoshop ✏️ 7️⃣ Developed script # 4 to batch-export each frame with text and legend applied 📤 4/5
