So. If any of you are hoping to release software for the Steam Frame one day, do be aware that you will probably not be able to release it on Steam and run a game on a remote PC. If one app runs on device 1, and another app runs on device 2, then device 1 gets disconnected from Steam. 1/2

Making it LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to have some cool utility tool for Steam Frame conveniently available on Steam. You WILL need to download it some other way. :) Learned it the hard way. Have this as a little bonus (@valvesoftware.com why is this even affecting applications...) 2/2

That's odd, there's plenty of utility apps on Steam that run alongside games. Maybe you need to free the process from Steam after launching it somehow?

Like it should just run natively on the Steam Frame itself

i get it for games, but like you should be able to run apps on any device no matter if you have a game running on another device

the issue is running on multiple devices, i could free the process after launching it but like them being uncooperative and not willing to take feedback just completely demotivated me so the app that i was planning on releasing ON STEAM FRAME LAUNCH will be releasing at a later date *maybe*
