This troll is speedrunning an account ban. They're just spamming nonsense on all of my recent posts. Glad I snagged a screenshot before she blocked me.

That block orphaned this reply:

You're the one who thinks sharing a post from an intersex person, not altering her words in the least, is somehow "weaponizing" the person. Or do you think the only voices that should be heard are those who agree with you?

The essay they linked is next to worthless. «[Using the word "intersex"] is frequently leading to the children most in need of support, being lost in a sea of debates about gender identities or whether or not sex is a binary, bimodal or a spectrum.» Well, whose fault is *that*‽ 🙄

So if bigoted parents don't like our terminology, we cannot call ourselves inclusive because we aren't including bigots and their bigoted views. Think of the children!! WTAF 😒

1) parents don’t define their children. 2) those who do not identify as intersex will not likely become part of those groups. No-one has to identify as intersex, and I know some people who don’t. But I just spoke with some yesterday who find it freeing and affirming. Each person defines themselves.

Also, who said receiving peer support demands parental acceptance of terminology, or even forcibly describing their child as intersex??? What an absolute shitty strawman that runs counter to actual advocacy which is to encourage and prioritize self-identification above all else.

Parents can say whatever they want as long as it's not abusive to the child, and they can do so up until the point where the child can advocate for themselves. God that blog post grossed me out even more on the second read through.
