We all are! Environment API took a long time, but I think it was worth doing this slowly so we could involve as many frameworks and environment providers as we could. If everything goes well, we'll release Vite 6 in a couple of weeks.

That’s good to hear! From the outside it just feels like the momentum fizzled after the RR7 announcement. I suspect most people outside the core community might be left with the impression that “Remix was EOL’d” as expressed here: bsky.app/profile/char...

kit and astro are kinda they're own thing isn't remix EOL'd? was very confused by all of that start seems promising. maybe we build our own 🤔🌈🧑‍💻

I know there is a fine line between branding and dumb tribalism. But “I’m using Remix” was a coherent story, and googling “How to do X with Remix” or “Remix vs Next” was easy. “I’m using React Router 7 with the Vite plugin”, “How to do X with RR7 + Vite?”, “RR7 + Vite vs Next”? Not quite as clear.
