Currently, a diagram is making the rounds that is claimed to show a significant reduction in Russian disinformation bot activity after Ukrainian drones hit Yandex data centers. There is no evidence that this plot shows real data. I suspect that this image is AI-generated.

That image, perhaps, but Cloudflare is also showing this as a reduction in yandex-based bot activity in real time. radar.cloudflare.com/bots/as13238... Notably, Cloudflare makes no specific claims about the type of traffic drop aside from it being generally detected as automated.

The impact on the datacenter is certainly real. And I do believe fake social media accounts are a big problem and many are likely controlled from Russia - but the impact on fake social media activity due to this bombing has not been measured.
