We analysed 8,489,351 English PAA results with @alsoasked.com over the last few weeks and found a whopping 12.6% of answers in these boxes are now AI-generated by Google 😱 Will update monthly. Maybe represents opportunity where content answering “full” intent does not exist? 🤔

I meant, did those questions/answers (regardless if they're AOIs or not) are seen for the 1st time (and Google decided to answer them with AOIs since they didn't find enough answer on publishers' sites). Or are they PAA that Google decided to replace publishers' answer with its AOIs? Clearer?

Interesting, and definitely surprising being that high of a percentage! I’ve not seen any in the wild (yet), so I assume it’s something answering the query with a label that it’s AI-generated?
