I'm right now on the last chapter of "Build a Large Language Model (from scratch)" by @sebastianraschka.com and it's absolutely amazing to get started. Now I can understand why people lose their shit over DeepSeek, for example

Ha, glad you are liking it so far!? Chapter 7 is maybe also the most fun one was we get to leverage all the stuff from the previous chapters to finally train a simple chatbot. Re DeepSeek... it may take a bit but there'll be a sequel one day I hope!

At least I understand that "KV cache" doesn't mean Redis 🙈 Can't move forward though because the training on Gutenberg dataset literally crashed my electric counter and I'm without electricity for several hours waiting for the company to come and fix it 🤣😭
