my goddd I love paintings of snowy neighborhoods in the evening it's so instantly nostalgic and comforting 😩 this is so beautiful!! you have such good restraint in not overdoing it on the details, like the gestural quality of the trees and how you suggest their form rather than fully rendering 🥰

it looks very touchable. textured might be another word, but not quite. your masterful use of lighting smooths everything out in a realistic way. it looks like i could reach out and touch the snow and it would be soft.

what the fuck this rocks this is so good i know it's a small thing but i'm just... enamored by the subtle difference in the warm grey of the sky directly against the cool grey of the snow on the tree.
