I’ve said this before, MUSC 103 was one of the best classes I ever took. Music for non-majors The prof looked like Santa Claus (a big bonus to the fun factor), we learned how to write music using basic theory, he would pick random students songs and play them Oh, you also had to sing the notes.

I get it, an intro-level theory theory class for non-majors is not anyone's highest priority. But dammit my projects are fun, rewarding and lead to growth and transformation.

And yes, I’ve forgotten it all. It was 30+ years ago. But it was fun. Unlike that Systems Engineering class where 90% of the class failed the first of two exams
